Authentic Western Trail Rides in the Pacific Northwest

Pacific Northwest Guided Trail Rides specializes in authentic western guided horseback adventures through the scenic beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

What to Bring

  • Water bottle
    (saddles include holders; no water provided)
  • Phone or small camera
  • Sunscreen & sunglasses
  • Bug spray (no DEET)
  • Hat (18+ if declining helmet)

What to Wear

  • Long pants (shorts not recommended)
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Riding boots encouraged (not required)

Rider Requirements

  • Must be able to mount independently (mounting block provided)
  • No double riding
  • No expectant mothers

Health & Safety

  • Bring medical items (EpiPen, inhaler, etc.)
  • Inform your guide of any medical conditions
  • Staff are CPR & First Aid certified

Barn & Trail Rules

  • No smoking or vaping
  • No alcohol or drugs
  • No riding under the influence
  • No purses or body-strap cameras (bags provided)
    • We walk only on rides. We DO NOT trot or canter.

Arrival & Parking

  • Arrive 15 minutes early
  • Discovery Pass required for parking within Riverside State Park
  • $10 day pass or annual pass available
  • No pass needed for drop-off only

Gratuity is not included but always appreciated. Our wranglers work hard to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
