Each weekend during the season, we offer sleigh or carriage rides for families to enjoy! We can accommodate 4-6 people depending on size per rider, details below.
Your ride will include complimentary hot cocoa, apple cider, and a crackling fire. During this ride you will experience the magic of fall and winter at Riverside State Park with a 20-30 minute sleigh/carriage ride while you admire the festive holiday decorations along the way.

Helpful Sleigh/Carriage ride Information
🛷 Seating & Capacity
- Two bench seats on the sleigh/carriage
- Bench size is similar to a pickup truck bench seat
- Comfortable seating for up to 6 riders
- Groups larger than 6? Call or text us to check availability
👶 Children & Riders
- Children under 5 ride free
- No booking required for children under 5
- If the sleigh/carriage is full, children must sit on an adult’s lap
❄️ Ride Conditions & Booking
- Sleigh vs. carriage is decided daily based on snow conditions
- Adequate snow is required for sleigh use
- Outdoor temperature must be above 25°F to proceed
