We are now offering winter rides!

Between 11/10/23-12/14/23 you can book a 2 hour ride for 2 people only (dates and times are limited). We are working with the State Park to be able to stay open the rest of the winter and will change the dates if more come available.

Riverside State Park - Spokane, WA

Choose a 1 hour, 2 hour or 3 hour trail ride along the Spokane River, just minutes from downtown Spokane in Washington’s largest state park.

Our horses are saddled and ready to ride from the Riverside State Park Horse Park. Each ride can accommodate up to 5 guests (2 guests only for winter rides). Reservations are required as these rides do fill up quickly. Riders must be at least 10 years old to join us. Riders must be under 250 pounds.

Pacific North West Guided Trail Rides is the only outfitter permitted and contracted by the State Park Service to offer guided trail rides in Riverside State Park. We are proud to work together with them at the state and local levels to provide this service to the public and help entice guests to explore our local state parks!

PRICING
  • $70+Tax/person for a 1-hr excursion (Ride time is approximate and includes orientation and ride time.)
  • $150+Tax/person for a 2-hr excursion – (Ride time is approximate and includes orientation and ride time.)
  • $210+Tax/person for a 3-hr excursion –  (Ride time is approximate and includes orientation and ride time.)

*All rides depart from our staging area near the riding arena at the Riverside State Park Horse Park. Pricing, dates, and availability are subject to change. Ride times are approximate and include orientation time as well as riding time. It is imperative you arrive early so that we can limit the amount of time spent on orientation, get in a little more riding time, and finish on-time for the next group of riders.

DIRECTIONS TO RIVERSIDE STATE PARK STAGING AREA

*Please note that the Riverside State Park Horse Park is located on the WEST side of the park on the WEST side of the Spokane River. It is NOT located at the Bowl & Pitcher area or near the Nine Mile Falls main office.*

We are located past the campground and all the way to the end of the gravel road. Drive through the parking area, past the restroom and through our gates where you can park.

From I-90W (downtown Spokane):
Take I-90 W, exit 280A toward S. Maple St., Continue onto S. Maple St. Turn Left onto Sunset Blvd., Continue on Sunset Blvd to , Government Way – turning right on Government Way. Continue past cemeteries, through stoplight. Turn right onto N. Equestrian Ln (formerly N. Aubrey L White), Take the first right into the Equestrian Area. We are located past the campground and all the way to the end of the gravel road. Drive through the parking area, past the restroom and through our gates where you can park.

From N. Spokane/Country Homes:
From N. Country Homes Blvd/Division go 2.1 miles and continue on N. Ash St., turn right onto Northwest Blvd, Turn left onto W. TJ Meenach Dr, Continue on W. Ft. George Wright Dr past Spokane Falls Community College, at the “T” turn right onto W. Government Way, Turn right into the park onto N Equestrian Ln (formerly N. Aubrey L White), Take the first right into the Equestrian Area. We are located past the campground and all the way to the end of the gravel road. Drive through he parking area, past the restroom and through our gates where you can park.
